I'm fundraising for Disability Sport and Recreation
This month, I’m taking part in the Disability Sport & Recreation CEO Wheelchair Challenge to experience what daily life is like for those who use a wheelchair.
It’s a powerful reminder that accessibility matters—not just in business, but in every aspect of our community.
By participating, I hope to raise awareness and raise vital funds to inspire change toward a more inclusive, accessible future.
Let’s work together to create environments where everyone can thrive and make sure you check back to see more about my experience.

Getting Involved
Wednesday 6th Nov As the owner of Clublinks seeing the enthusiasm and commitment from our executive team who recently participated in the Disability Sport & Recreation CEO Wheelchair Challenge, I felt inspired to take it a step further and get involved personally.Equipped with my own wheelchair, I spent the entire day taking on the challenge and gaining firsthand insights into the unique mobility and accessibility needs that many people navigate daily.
"The CEO’s Wheelchair Challenge was a huge eye opener for me. First of all, being in a manual wheelchair is bloody hard work. More importantly, my day was significantly impacted in ways that I had no idea about beforehand."
"It is now very obvious to me that we need to do a lot more to help people who get around in a wheelchair. And the policy makers could do a lot worse than spend a day in a wheelchair like I did, because there were so many inconveniences that clearly haven’t been addressed until now."
"I'm very pleased to have tried to walk a mile in a disabled person’s wheelchair – sorry to mangle that old saying - and have come away with a very different point of view." - Mark Brayshaw.
