I'm fundraising for Disability Sport and Recreation
This month, I’m taking part in the Disability Sport & Recreation CEO Wheelchair Challenge to experience what daily life is like for those who use a wheelchair.
It’s a powerful reminder that accessibility matters—not just in business, but in every aspect of our community.
By participating, I hope to raise awareness and raise vital funds to inspire change toward a more inclusive, accessible future.
Let’s work together to create environments where everyone can thrive and make sure you check back to see more about my experience.

Why I’m Taking On the DSR CEO Wheelchair Challenge
Tuesday 29th OctThis year, I’m participating in the DSR CEO Wheelchair Challenge, not just to raise funds but to open my eyes—and those of my family, team, and community—to the daily realities faced by people who rely on a wheelchair. For me, this challenge is about experiencing, even briefly, what it’s like to navigate the world from a different perspective, including the accessibility barriers we might not notice in our daily lives.
As a CEO, I want to understand how we can make workplaces like ours more accessible and inclusive for everyone. The thought of how life could change after an accident, or how those challenges would impact my role and family, is a powerful motivator. I’m also hoping to spark meaningful conversations with my team and educate my kids on empathy, resilience, and the importance of inclusion.
Your support will help Disability Sport & Recreation (DSR) continue providing equipment, programs, and support to people with disabilities so they can stay active and connected. Every dollar brings us closer to a world where everyone can participate fully in sport and recreation. Thank you for joining me on this journey!
